i couldn't resist picking up a copy of this month's downbeat magazine...
and then in what was a deep sleep i had last night, i had a dream that i bought a downbeat magazine from the 70s that had on the cover: muhal richard abrams, john hicks and jaki byard...
of course, no such magazine exists...
