鍛冶 兄

Blacksmith is the translation of my last name, Nalbandian, or rather “son of a blacksmith” - signifies a type of craftsmanship I associate with artists like Hiroki Nakamura, Rei Kawakubo, Wes Anderson, David Hammons, Tom Sachs and Kerry James Marshall; representing my overall approach to the music.

- and “Brother” because I’m the eldest of two brothers.

The Blacksmith Brother label was founded simultaneously with the release of my first album, Armen.
